Congratulations!
This is monumental good news! Congrats on your achievement, I am SO happy for you!
Way to go! I’ll buy the paperback edition when it comes to my country.
Dear Jeri,
I’m puzzled why you don’t use your name as author, and use your Xanga username instead. (Especially seeing as how one of the reviews I just read on amazon.com mentions you BY name. Oh well, the vagaries of “internetting” always interest me. I’ve added your book to my “wishlist”. (It’s less expensive than the other Xangan’s book I have listed. LOL) After years of reading only blogs and news services on the internet, I’ve found it pretty easy to get back in the swing of reading books for pleasure. (Of course my “training” as an Eng Lit major back in the long ago included reading two or three novels a week, so reading for me is sort of like breathing, when I put my mind to it.)This sounds like interesting subject matter. I’ll make sure I add my “review” after having read your novel. I keep hoping some literary agent or publishing house would “discover” my blog and/or website, and offer me a nice advance to write one of the many books I have in my head. Although most of what I’ve written is pretty much a “memoir” and I don’t think there’s too much of an audience for the rambling tales of an old hippie. Poetry collections don’t sell either. The big thing in publishing right now seems to be “young adult fiction” usually featuring strong female characters in post apocalyptic societies who are pretty good with a bow and arrow. But I digress.Congrats again.Neat to see Xangan friends are getting published! Especially you. I just wrote about how there were “literary” Xangans in the past in my News and Notes yesterday. I’ve always considered you as one of the better writers I’ve had the honor to read.Michael F. Nyiri ,poet, philosopher, fool
congratulations…. looks like a great read…
